What do I need before getting a website built?
You do not need a finished plan, polished writing, or a folder full of perfect photos. A few business details are enough to get the conversation started.
What should I send you first?
Your business name, the services you offer, the towns or area you serve, and the email address where inquiries should go. Include your current website if you have one. Tell us what you want people to do: request an estimate, email you, or call your business. A short email is fine.
Do I need to write all five pages?
You supply the facts about your business; we help organize them into clear website wording. A list of services and a few notes about how you work are a useful start. Full copywriting or a large amount of new content is separate work. You review the wording before launch so prices, qualifications, service areas, and promises are accurate.
What photos and reviews can I use?
Your own job photos are a good starting point. Send the original files if possible, and only use photos you own or have permission to publish. Ask permission before showing customers or private details. Reviews must be genuine and used appropriately. If you do not have examples yet, we can plan around that without inventing work or testimonials.
What if I do not have a logo or domain?
Tell us what you have. A clear business name can be a practical starting point; a new logo is not included in the basic build. If you need a domain, we can help with setup. One standard .com is included with optional annual care, subject to availability; premium names cost extra. If you already own a domain, keep it in your business ownership. We review the account setup before making changes.
Do we have to meet in person?
No. We work online and by email, so you can send details and review the design when you have a quiet moment. Feedback works best as one collected list for each revision round. You do not need to set aside a morning for a meeting or learn a new project-management system.
How long does a website take?
We agree on a realistic delivery window before starting, based on the scope, our availability, and when your content is ready. Time for your review is part of the plan. Missing photos, delayed feedback, or extra features can change the schedule. We aim to answer inquiries within two to three business days; that is a response target, not a build deadline.
What happens after I say yes?
We confirm the pages, features, price, and delivery window in writing. You pay the 50% build deposit, send the agreed materials, and receive a design to review. After the included revision rounds, we build and test the site, have you confirm the test inquiry reaches your inbox, and collect the remaining build payment before launch. We also agree on hosting and who handles updates afterward.
Can we start small?
Yes. A useful five-page site can explain your services, show your work, and make it easy to ask for an estimate. Extras can wait until there is a clear reason for them. See the pricing breakdown and our project examples, including the clearly labeled tree-service demonstration.
